Fix Eufy Auto Lock Not Working

Right now, we are going to walk you through the troubleshooting and repair process for your eufy auto lock that is not functioning.

  1. Check the Batteries

Battery

One of the most typical causes of a eufy auto lock failing to function properly is a need for new batteries.

When a battery begins to lose its charge, it may cause a variety of concerns, including problems with the remote control and with your ability to enter and exit your home.

You are going to want to give new batteries a go as soon as you can if you want to have this issue fixed.

This is a simple solution that, in addition to fixing the issue at hand, should take care of any other small issues that you may be experiencing with your Eufy doorbell camera.

The procedure for replacing anything is not too complicated. You will first need to remove the back plate, then remove the old batteries, then replace the old batteries with new ones.

Lastly, you will need to reinstall the back plate. Your gadget should start functioning normally after this is finished.

  1. Enable Auto-Locking

Even if there is a possibility that there are further causes for this problem, the first thing you should do is check to see whether the auto-lock option is activated.

Whether you want to use this feature and it isn’t working for you, check to see if it is enabled first since it isn’t enabled by default.

Whether not, switch it on and test the lock to see if it is now functioning properly once you have done so.

You may verify that your Eufy lock is working properly by securing the door for about three minutes, after which you will check to see whether it is locked.

Are you having trouble figuring out how to activate the auto-lock feature on your Eufy smart lock?

In such case, read on for instructions on how to verify and activate the auto-lock feature on your Eufy smart lock:

  • Launch the Eufy Security application on the mobile device you’re using.
  • Choose “Lock Settings” on the smart lock device tab, and then click “Auto Lock” when prompted to do so.
  • You’ll see a button right next to the phrase “Auto Lock.” Check to see whether it is turned on or off. Move the switch to the “on” position if it is not already in that position.
  • In addition, if the auto-lock feature is on, turn it off and then turn it back on again.
  • Check to see whether it is now functioning properly, as was previously suggested. If the issue is still present, go to the next stage in the process.
  1. Try To Calibrate It

Calibration of the lock is another potential solution that may be tried. This repair is advised by Eufy, and it is often effective in helping to alleviate some of the lock’s operational issues.

  1. It seems that one of the battery contacts has fallen out of the device. It’s not the screen portion that goes to the negative end of the battery it’s the positive end. The little piece is chrome and it looks like an old time stove burner that is in a circular pattern. Can I get a replacement for this part? Thanking you in advance.
