How to Fix Wink Hub Solid Yellow Light?

Quite a number of users have been facing issues with their Wink hub. On asking such users more about the issue that they are facing, they mentioned how they get a solid yellow light on their Wink hub. Most of them don’t even know what yellow light represents.

Today, we will be using this article, in order to figure out all about how you can fix this issue. All the troubleshooting steps on how you can fix this are given below:

  1. Restart the Hub and Router

Most usually, yellow light on the hub means that it is having problems connecting with your internet. This happens when the device gets bugged while setting up or turning on. Hence, what you can do in hopes of fixing the problem would be to try and restart both the device and the router.

What we recommend you do is to first try and restart your router. Ensure that you let the router restart completely before you try and restart your hub as well. After both devices have successfully restarted, check if the issue persists or not.

  1. Problems with Your Internet

Another possible reason why you are facing this issue could be due to the reason because your internet is currently not working like it’s supposed to. If that is so, then you will have to run a couple of internet speed tests to make sure that your internet is working just fine.

Also, you will have to check things like the router being placed too far away from the hub. Similarly, you will also have to check the router settings to see if that works or not.

  1. Contact Wink Support

If none of the mentioned steps seem to be working for you, then what you can do is to try and contact Wink’s customer support for additional help on the matter. The support team should contact you shortly and come up with all the ways on how you can troubleshoot the problem. What you will need to do is to be as cooperative as possible.
