  2. My system required an “Update” never worked after update started. “KEYPAD NOT CONNECTED” tried pulling batteries as suggested. Nothing!

      • Me too. Got a message saying the keypad needed new batteries. Replaced them and now it as: Keypad not connected. Try any key to connect to the Base Station” No matter what I try, that is the message. Any ideas? Thanks, Chrissy

    • Mine keeps giving a message Keyboard not connected try any key. Did you have any luck? I only got in this position because the base station said I needed to change the batteries in my keypad, and when I did and hit a button it says the above. I have had this system for 2 years and never had any trouble.

      • initially, the message was “keypad is not in range”. It has been this message for some time now on occasion. However, we thought had the problem fixed. Well, today, the same message, so we changed the batteries out. Now, WE get this message “Keypad not connected. Try any key to connect to the Base Station” No matter what I try, that is the message. We do not know how to reinstall the keypad, as our son-in-law set up the system. C an you help?
