  1. I don’t get the point about using the same wi-fi network…
    My wireless bulb connects via zigbee, not wi-fi.
    My Hue bridge connects via ethernet, not wi-fi.
    My phone connects via 4G, not wi-fi.
    My bridge is setup to allow control from remote network.
    So end-to-end, nothing relies on any wi-fi network.
