These days, we all need a washing machine, right? Well recently my old washing machine finally gave up the ghost so I needed to purchase a new one. And as we all know, buying a new washing machine is not a cheap affair.

Because of this, I did my homework by looking at all the washing machines on the market, and comparing them by price, efficiency and the reviews made by those who had already purchased the machine I was reviewing.

In the end I decided to buy a Samsung FlexWash Washer as they are said to be reliable and come with advanced features that many other make do not. And I have to say that I have been impressed by its results.

However, since purchasing it, I have to admit that I have encountered one problem with my new washing machine. What I have found is that my Samsung FlexWash Washer sometimes stops at random and does not complete the wash cycle.

Unfortunately, when this does happen, the washer does not display any kind of error message to advise me what the problem is – it just simply turns itself off.

But before you continue reading this article, you may first watch the short YouTube video I’ve made about this topic. You can watch it below.

I demonstrated in the video, how I solved this problem. On my case, it was due to the main PCB board failure. I removed the power module and main PCB board from the washer and ordered a replacement.

After carrying out some research myself, I have discovered that this problem is due to a failure in the power module or the main control board which are located at the rear bottom of the washing machine.

In my case, it was the power module that had failed, and which required me to buy a replacement module from AliExpress.

When I compared the original power module to the one that I had to purchase, it was clear to see that the electronic components had burned out.

Once I had got hold of a replacement power module, it was easy to replace the old power module with the new one. However, you do need to take care and ensure to install it correctly and to connect the wires in their correct place.

Having replaced the power module with my new one, my Samsung FlexWash Washer is now working properly and as efficiently as when I first purchased it.

However, while in my case this was the cause of my FlexWash stopping in mid cycle, I would recommend that you just check out a couple of things before you do go to the trouble of checking for a failure in the power module or the main control board situated at the rear bottom of the washing machine.

the electronic components had burned out.

Make sure that the plug for the washing machine is firmly inserted into the plug socket. If it isn’t then it can be the cause of sporadic breaks in the supply of power to the washing machine.

And if you suspect that the plug socket itself may be faulty and causing the problem, you can always test it out by plugging in a different appliance to see if it is the plug socket that is faulty.

If where you live there are sometimes power fluctuations or surges, this could also be the cause of the problem.

If you do suffer from power fluctuations where you live you might want to consider buying a surge protector or a voltage stabilizer.

Lastly, and as I recommend with all electrical appliances that you have, remember that they do need to be cleaned from time-to-time, and that they should be maintained regularly.

And in the case of a large appliance like a washing machine, they should also be serviced by a professional every so often.
