Merkury Smart Bulbs deliver cheap and smart light to the home. They connect directly to the existing WiFi network, so no extra hubs or bridges are needed. Simply screw the bulb in the socket, download the app, connect it and everything works right away.
The setup is very easy for most users.
Easy to Set Up Smart Bulbs with App and Voice Control
The Merkury Smart app is the main tool for controlling those bulbs. It allows the user to control and manage all Merkury devices from one spot. With the app one can change colors by simply pressing and dragging the color viewer.
Also the brightness adjusts easily. The app helps to set schedules, so the lights automatically turn on when one wakes up and turn off when one goes. Like this one saves energy and eases the daily routine.
Several bulbs connect to each other and one can control them at the same time. It is useful, when many rooms need smart lighting. Merkury offers also smart plugs, that allow control of devices from anywhere, anytime.
The smart plug takes less space than a wall outlet, so it wroks for rooms, kitchens and bedrooms. Besides bulbs and plugs, Merkury has smart LED strips, that work well in kitchens, bedrooms, rooms and for lighting behind televisions.
Voice control is one of the main benefits. The Merkury Smart Bulbs work with Alexa and Google Assistant for hands-free usage. One can dim or brighten the lights from the whole room or even from another place, only by voice command or the app.
The newest version of the app now brings fresh tools like the BW950 Smart Color Bulb and the WW134 Smart Plug.
Those bulbs come in various kinds. There is the Smart A19 Color Changing Bulb, available in two-pack, that is dimmable and compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. There is also the Multicolor A21 LED bulb, that gives 1050 lumens and matches a 75-watt bulb.
Both come in two-packs. One finds the bulbs at Walmart in the electronics section, and they require a WiFi router with internet, along with a smart phone or tablet too operate. Some models use the Geeni app instead of the Merkury Smart App.
But they are not perfect. Some users find problems with connections, when one tries to connect the bulbs to Alexa or the app. If the bulb was before connected to another account, it must first be removed from that, before it works again.
The bulbs can brake more quickly than some more expensive brands, but the low price makestheir replacement less costly. The multicolor bulbs commonly automatically restart after power outage, just like many other smart bulbs.
