The eufy Baby Clever Sock works as portable monitor, designed especially for children. It comes in three different sizes so that it fits newborns up to 18-month-old babies. The main advantage?
You can put it on either foot depending on what feels comfy that day; parents really enjoy that flexibility.
Clever Sock battery life and how it works
Here what most interests all: how long does the device last on one charge? The built-in battery keeps the constant tracking active up to 24 hours, before needing to reset. Honestly, that is enough for a full night of sleep, without it shutting off suddenly.
Of course, the sock needs regular charging, so it does not work all day. Even so, because the battery lasts this well, most families find that it does not cause big trouble.
Charging the sock is surprisingly easy. The Base for Clever Socks also acts as your charging path and uses wireless charging methods. Simply place the sock on the contacts on the base and perss it down.
The base itself does not have its own battery. It stays connected to a wall plug for constant power. You get a USB-C cable for the connection to the plug.
Just make sure that the base is fully charged before the first use, and note: there are no energy saving modes. On the other hand, the whole setup works fine in everyday use.
The sock follows the heart rhythm and the oxygen in blood using current SPO2 readings. You can set the limit for warnings, which gives calm. Even so, it is worth noting something: some parents found cases where the sock did not send messages to the phone, when the beat or oxygen level go outside the normal range, even though the warnings are turned on in the app.
That this happens is really unlikely. Sometimes it helps too check the battery in the app, because it can reset the settings to endless values, which messes with the signals.
Over time, the sensors can gather dirty buildup that blocks the work. Quickly clean the sensor and make sure that the sock has enough energy, so that any errors disappear. When the battery is low; around 10 percent, it also can mess up the accuracy of the sock.
The eufy Clever Sock connects with the eufy Baby app for iOS and Android. Parents add both the camera and the sock in the app, so that everything together runs smooth. Note that: the data from the clever sock show only in the app itself, not on a separate screen.
The eufy Baby S340 Clever Sock has a pretty high price compared to other baby monitors, which does not work for every budget. Even so, many parents that chose it think that it is worth the cost. Warnings come sometimes weekly on average, andknowing that the sock watches the baby helps them sleep better overnight.
