Gray storage icons on your security camera app often means one thing: You have no room for more. The app says you’re full. Rarely is your card at fault. No, it’s a gap between the amount of space you have and size of video you’re trying to record.
Most folks purchases the biggest card they can afford. They think this is the solution to their problem. Unfortunately, it often ends up costing them money. The gigabytes are not all raw. Usable capacity also matters. That means it’s not going to be two hundred fifty-six gigs exactly, because formatting and file system overhead take up some of that space.
