💡 The Kelvin Offset: The key to converting Celsius to Kelvin is simply adding 273.15. This is because 0 K (absolute zero) equals -273.15°C — the coldest possible temperature. The two scales share the same interval size, so a 1°C change always equals a 1 K change.
⚠️ No Degree Symbol in Kelvin: Unlike Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F), Kelvin does not use the degree symbol. It is written as "K" not "°K". This is because Kelvin is an absolute thermodynamic scale, not a relative degree-based scale. In scientific writing, always write "300 K" not "300°K".

Changing Celsius to Kelvin is between the simplest changes of temperature. One skips any hard math. Simply adding and taking away help to pass between those two scales of heat.
