Eufy robotic vacuums work by means of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. This is the usual kind of Battery for most models of Eufy. Those batteries usually last from 300 to 500 cycles per round.
If you care about the Eufy Vacuum and keep it clean, the Battery will last more long. Regular cleaning of the dust holder, together with some minutes of cleaning on the plastic screen monthly, really help. Like this the engine runs in its work and the device does not waste energy too quickly.
Eufy Vacuum Battery Life and Care
The life of the Battery changes according to the kind of model. For instance, one can use 2600 mAh lithium-ion Battery, that comes in pair. It allows up to 100 minutes of cleaning for one round.
For the RoboVac X8-series exists another range: 5200 mAh lithium-ion batteries, that reaches even 180 minutes of work per round. Also available is a 4600 mAh Battery with 21,6 V lithium-ion setup, designed for the Omni S1 Pro and Omni S1. For older versinos as RoboVac 11, 11S, 30, 15C, 25C and 35C, one finds improved 4000 mAh Battery in 14,4 V.
For many models of Eufy there are backup batteries. Official Eufy batteries exist for the L50, L60, L60 SIX, L50 SIX, L60 Hybrid and L60 Hybrid SIX. Similarly, they are available for the L35, LR30 and LR20-series.
For the Omni E28 and E25, the spare Battery includes safety features, that protect against overcharge, overheating and short circuits. It installs without special tools. The best advise is use original Eufy parts, to protect the Eufy Vacuum and extend its use.
Some batteries arrive with one-year guarantee. Eufy batteries one finds at stores as Walmart and Batteries Plus Bulbs. Non-official versions also sell on Amazon for around 20 dollars or less, but the original part stays the more reliable choice.
Problem batteries do appear occasionally. Some Eufy Vacuum models have their batteries fully dying after less than one year of light use. One example: Battery failed after year and three months, another at the end of two years after purchase.
A few models work only 10 to 20 minutes before shutting off. After change, it is possible solid red lights and continuous beeping. When one replaces the Battery, you must follow the setup steps.
Eufy offers video guides for this, that covers the Recovery, Gyro and X8-series.
Finding good spare batteries is not always simple. In lands as United Kingdom, the availability sometimes limits. Email contact with Eufy support can help sort things directly.
The shipping lasts around 10 days or more. In some cases, new Battery solved the problem, where thedevice before stopped after some seconds.
